Years of Diverse Experience

Katie Croskrey is the President of Nonprofit Magic, an Executive Coaching and Consulting solution for nonprofit organizations. For the past 30 years Katie has served some of the largest national voluntary health organizations. She has served in roles related to development, mission delivery, advocacy, research funding, awareness, nonprofit Board development and volunteer training. Katie has served as an Executive Director for the past 15 years and specializes in building a nonprofit's organizational capacity.

For several organizations, Katie has served as a consultant for Chapters experiencing a change in leadership. She has served as a nonprofit interim Executive Director, Executive search leader and nonprofit Executive Coach and trainer.

She is a passionate advocate and fundraiser for people living with chronic illnesses. Her knowledge of the needs of caregivers is great and personally motivated by the experiences of her family while caring for her mother who lived with MS.

Katie serves on the Expert Network for Aperio Philanthropy, a Senior Consultant for Turnkey and is a graduate of the Interim Executive Leadership Academy from Third Sector Group.

Katie has been an instructor in the Fundraising and Development Certificate Program at UC San Diego Extended Studies for the past 14 years. She teaches the Introductory to Fundraising and Corporate Relations courses.

Katie has a Masters in Nonprofit Management from Regis University. She is an educated Executive Coach and is currently completing her ACC accreditation from the ICF.
